Karen Jinks

I am an artist and freelance illustrator currently living in Cambridgeshire with my partner and 2 children. I graduated in the early 90’s with a BA Hons in graphic design and illustration from the Norwich School of Art, and started selling direct from my website after the birth of my son in 2000.

My work ranges from clean, minimal design to richly textured collage and paintings, more of which can be seen on my portfolio site - www.karenjinks.co.uk.

UK Handmade started out as a way for a small group of designers to promote their own businesses to the general public as 'handmade' had a bit of a bad reputation in the UK, but little did we know we would quickly grow into a thriving community of over 5000 members with new people joining daily. I feel very proud to be part of UK Handmade and have met many wonderful, talented and creative people along the way.
