Wizardry In Wood

Exhibitors at Wizardry in Wood 2012 will include over twenty of the UK's most skilled and creative wood-turners showing the finest of contemporary work. Many of the pieces will be available for sale.

The Exhibition features important historical collections to show how the craft of wood-turning has evolved during the 800 year existence of the Worshipful Company of Turners.

Particularly noteworthy are the display of turned artefacts from the Mary Rose Trust, the amazingly ornate nineteenth century demonstration pieces from the Holtzapffel collection of the London Science Museum and samples of the artistic work by the late Theo Fabergé.

The Exhibition also includes all the work entered into the prestigious turning competitions of the Turners' Company.
