Do you need apprenticeship funding? The Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust (QEST), the charitable arm of The Royal Warrant Holders Association, helps emerging craftspeople to excel in their careers.
The Scheme is targeted at and young, aspiring – but inexperienced – craftspeople. QEST will fund up to £18,000 over three years to companies wishing to hire a craft apprentice.
The next round of applications will be open from 5th June to 3rd August 2017, with interviews held in the Autumn.
Eligibility and requirements:
- Funding can go towards equipment, training or helping provide the living wage.
- Apprentices and Employers must apply together as a team.
- Apprenticeships must be for a specific craft skill, with clear training plans and milestones.
- Only companies demonstrating a clear financial need will be considered.
