OPPORTUNITIES: 52 crafts in 52 weeks
Christine Evans started her 52 crafts in 52 weeks project in June 2010 as a way to live a life more crafty and to learn a bundle of new creative skills.
She has since tried a whole year of crafts from crochet to perfume making and decoupage to mosaic. And she documented every single week on her blog including the not-so-successful projects amongst the newly discovered favourite crafts of freehand machine embroidery and stamp making.
It’s now year 2 and Christine is inviting everyone to join in. Each month she’ll choose a theme and a list of crafts for that month. You can join in with just one craft to fit the theme or all four - it’s up to you. July is printing and Christine will be carving shapes in potatoes as well as giving lino- and screen-printing a go.
