What's been happening with all the wonderful hexipuffs you've been sending in?
Our wonderful partner in this competition, jelly, have been busy storing them all away safely, ready for the big STITCHATHON (sewing) day!
What's the Stitchathon day?
The Stitchathon is a day hosted by jelly at their HQ in Reading, where everybody is welcome to come along to help us put this magnificent quilt together. If you'd like to come along, details are as follows:
- Date: Wednesday 14th December
- Time: 6-9pm
- Venue: jelly, 29-31 Market Place, Reading RG1 2DE (get directions)
- Bring: darning needle/wool needle and scissors
- Refreshments: jelly will kindly provide all volunteers with tea/ coffee/ biscuits
How many hexipuffs will be stitched together?
To date, 76 knitters from around the world have signed up to contribute hexipuffs to our charity Beekeeper's Quilt and we know that many more have kindly contributed hexipuffs without signing, so we should have 152+ hexipuffs to stitch together next Wednesday!
Hope to see you there!!

Beekeeper's Quilt stitchathon
Hello
I wondered how the stitchathon went yesterday? Sorry - too far to have joined you. I sent a pack of my very first seven hexipuffs (or should that be hexapuffs) and hope you were able to use some of them.
All the best, Jill
